You can manage your projects easier with new functions; table templates and dropdown chips in Google Docs.

Firstly, dropdown chips, you can indicate the status on document by using dropdown chips, there are two default dropdown options which include:
– Project Status, that includes selections for “Not Started”, “Blocked”, “In Progress” and “Complete”
– Review Status, that includes selections for “Not Started”, “In Progress”, “Under Review” and “Approved”.
However, you can create dropdown options by your own criteria and choose your favorite colors on each one as well:

Secondly, table templates for project management, you can easily create table templates that allow you to insert building blocks for your project workflow such as: Launch content tracker, Project asset, Review tracker, Product roadmap. Besides, you can create and design templates based on your own requirements.

With this table template, you can insert any files reference; documents, sheets, slides. Moreover, it allows you to add more description such as project status or tasks’ due date. It can keep your whole project on track including processes and team communication as well.
