Annotation on Google Meet developing your presentation more attractive with mutual interaction.
Whenever you have a presentation via Google Meet and have brainstorming sessions for idea generating, how do you collect and record those opinions from online meetings? Do you still write down on paper, summarize all discussion and share it with the team after the meeting? This process is quite redundant and takes time to finish each discussion. It would be better if your team can have interactive correspondence, share ideas and finalize decisions in a meeting.

Recently, Google Meet launched “annotation tools” helping better showcase content and engage with your audience while presenting content in Google Meet. When your screen is shared, you will notice the annotation icon. By clicking the button, you can select several annotation tools, such as:
– A pen: You can draw a free hand on screen.
– Text box: To add some words or sentences.
– Eraser: Remove your annotations that you don’t want from the shared screen.

In addition, the presenter can insert any line, shape, sticker or change font color as their own preferences. Not only the presenters who share the screen can apply annotations, but they also are able to assign other users as co-annotator to edit and comment on the presentation. After the co-annotators are designated, they are capable of using the same annotation tools as the presenters on the shared screen.
According to the advantages of the annotation feature, it enhances attendants’ attraction, boosts team participation for abundant creativity. All participants can brainstorm and share various ideas to solve any issues. It is able to increase more interaction and the team can finalize decisions in a meeting improving productivity and collaboration among the team.
